Well! Yesterday while I was perusing the Food Network website searching for a recipe, I stumbled upon a little known factoid that begged my attention immediately. Yes, my favorite Food Network hottie chef GIADA DE LAURENTIIS is on her book tour and will be doing a cooking class in SANTA MONICA at Sur La Table!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called immediately and after much hemming and hawing, they said that the class would be up on the website today. Yes, I went straight to the computer this morning while it was barely light and signed up! I was probably the first one! Oh, it's going to be so much fun! Just think about baked peaches with mascarpone cheese and amaretto! Yummeeeeeeeeeeee!
PAY IT FORWARD
Today one of my bestest buddies sent me an e-mail with the following motto to celebrate International Very Good Looking, Darn Smart Women's Day (that would include me, of course):
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
While it's obvious why she sent this to me, I want to remind all of the fantabulous women that I know that you too deserve to say "Woo Hoo". Have a wonderful day!
