C-note has a great admirer named Ms. Landry. She even called this morning to check on him as he had to exit her room yesterday due to sudden illness. I wish all the folks over there at M.H.S. were as wonderful and supportive as Ms. L. Unfortunately, the rest of the bunch range from semi-conscious to full-blown idiots. (That's you Bixler)
Well, Mr. B and I went to "Cheers/Marmalade" this afternoon. We were greeted at the door by the hostess who told us to take our favorite table in the back, and as we made our way through the restaurant, all of the staff greeted us like we were truly missed over the past 24 hours. Our favorite waitress swooped over to our table just as we sat down with Mr. B's beverage of choice: the usual paradise iced tea, extra glass of ice, and a spoon. We are definitely a couple of "regulars" now, and it's a pretty darned nice feeling.
Today was the big weigh in day: Jazz at 3.5 pounds, and Timmy 2.5, and both very cooperative. Jazz is the dominant boy, and lets Timmy know who's the boss of all the cat toys mainly by growling and hissing. Timmy is just a sweet little pie-faced runt who looks at him like, well, whatever dude.

Went to Costco today. Because I was thoughtful, conservative and had brought a list, I mangaed to keep my bill at just under $2,000.00.
No, it's not really true.
Well, (nodding) it is true.
No. Not true.
Mmmm, hmmmm. True story.
Read about it in the papers. It really happened.
No, not true.

After visiting Alaska last August, I've become very particular about salmon. I try and eat only wild caught Alaskan Coho Salmon, and avoid the farm raised faux-salmon. Especially when I found out that they have to dye the farm raised fish to make it pink (it's naturally a greyish weird color).
Those farm raised dudes don't ever really swim, they just float around and eat so that they can get big enough to be slaughtered. The wild guys on the other hand, are fighting for their lives, so are meatier and buff, and naturally very pinkish red.
Anyway, I'm bringing this up because it's salmon season (yeah!), and I'm eating my fair share, and I'm wondering if anyone knows why some of the flesh is brown on salmon. Should you eat that part? Is it even healthier than the pink flesh? Do tell if you know.
And, if your pocketbook allows, support those awesome fishermen and women in Alaska who spend their days fishing the pristine waters bringing us a delicacy that is also really great for your well being. Go fish!

After the dentist, Mr. B and I drove to Nan Yojepop's house. I had to return the FastTrac device that saved me $6 on my trip to "San Diego/Crappy Weather Town/Awful Hyatt Hotel/I'll never go back to Ocean Beach again place", and back. Mr. B loves the Yojepop home, and lovingly refers to it as Nancy Dog House. Gstaad and Chilly Willy were in rare form, due to contractors reworking the master bathroom, so Mr. B stripped down nekkid, and swam. Good move dude.
While waiting for Mr. B in the dentist's waiting room, there were two small monsters who were named Socrates and Chakra. Well, Socrates I can't argue with that much, other that his Mom kept calling him Soc, or Sock. Stupid. However, I had a bit of a hard time with the name Chakra. I mean, how would you like it if your parents named you after a body part existing only in the subtler realms. It's like naming her "Accupuncture Point" or "Errogenous Zone". Hmmph.
So, Mr. B went to the dentist today and was very cooperative. Mmm hmm. Mr. B has to have a tooth removed in two weeks, so we'll see just how cooperative he can be. Mmm hmm. That will determine how aggressive we can be with orthodontics in the future. Mmm hmm. Since Dr. Renzi has yet to be bitten by the cannibal, he's very optimistic. Mmm hmm. Tee hee.

Mr. B has used a magic marker to paint his left hand and arm deep purple. It's ugly, very ugly.
CLAWS, CLAWS! Timmy is crawling up my back. Ouch.
Definition of DUMBASS: The guy in the red pick-up truck with the sign in his back window that reads "The more I learn about women, the more I love my truck".
I have returned from another successful trip to San Diego where I learned about Alchemical Transformation and the Energy of Coherence. Very, very interesting!
Oh, and by the way, the weather in San Diego is still crappy. Always crappy.
