Maytag Man did not show up at 7:00 a.m. as scheduled. He showed up at 8:58 instead. He claims that his appointment was scheduled for BETWEEN 7:00 and 9:00 this morning. He just barely made it, with two minutes to spare. No one tells me these important details. Oh well, it's not like I took a shower or changed out of my pyjama shirt or anything.

Maytag will be here tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. with the new parts. I think that's a little early don't you?

The bus driver told me that I smell good this morning. Old man.

Well, I'm off to Terri's to meet nancy x. for a lunch date. I'm sure we'll sit outside. C-note went golfing with Q. Mr B. is at Webster, fiddling and diddling. All's quiet for now on the home front.

The Maytag repairman didn't show up with the washing machine part. That means major water spillage on the floor when we do our laundry. I guess I'll think of it this way: the clothes AND the floor get cleaned at the same time (as long as I mop up the mess). Not too bad.

The new fridge only makes crushed ice. No cubes. I like the new fridge, but this might just be a deal breaker.

The Suburban is singing. It's really annoying, and no one seems to know why it's singing, but it does. If only it had more than just one piercingly high note.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a mute button for things and people that you just don't want to listen to?

We had dinner last night with Eli and Runi at the Crocodile Cafe. (Mexican and Japanese both lost out, as we opted for "California Cuisine") They tried potstickers (californian?) and crab cakes for the first time. Mr. B was hyper during the entire meal. Boy, I really like Eli and Runi. Too bad they live so far away.

So far away,
In Norway,
plan to go there,
someday,
just to play,
in the summer,
when it's not so gray,
yes, that's yeah
i mean hooray.

Back from Idaho. Made it in only 14 hours (aggghhhh). Waiting to hear from Eli the Norwegian. Mexican or Japanese? I guess I should unpack now. No, I'll wait a little while longer.
