BUYING TIME

The Hungarian Nanny left yesterday saying, "Bye, see you on Monday". SHHHHHHHHHHH. Don't anyone tell her that next Monday is officially the month of May, and she was to be leaving her post at the end of April!

In addition, she has gracefully offered to return one day per week, to keep Mr. B in line and keep his bedroom from being declared a toxic waste dump eligible for a Superfund grant from the U.S. Government.

There will never be a suitable replacement for the Hungarian Nanny. :-(

BIRTHDAY TIME

It's always a delimma trying to come up with creative things for Mr. B's birthday. As he prefers non-traditional gifts, such as a case of kitchen sponges, or various types of nail clippers, I'm having to work my brain really hard this year to come up with something really good. Hmmmm.

And, many times Mr. B prefers the packaging far more than the gift inside. Most packaging makes a delicious snack.

I know that what Mr. B really wants is a dog that retrieves a ball over and over and over. I don't want a dog. Actually, Jazzy wouldn't want a dog either, and a dog probably wouldn't even want us. No dog.

How about a built-in swimming pool with a slide? Naw, that seems a bit excessive.

Well . . . . . . . . . still thinking.
